2 The Path Towards Gender Equality

In line with its strategic vision and to ensure an increasingly equitable and inclusive organization, DLVSystem s.r.l. has adopted an Integrated Management System that includes Quality, Environment, and Gender Equality. It also recognizes UNI/PdR 125:2022 as a fundamental tool for promoting gender equality, enhancing an inclusive culture, and developing processes aimed at women’s empowerment.Achieving this certification represents just the first step for DLVSystem s.r.l. in implementing gender equality policies, with a view to improving and promoting gender equality. The certification, in fact, aims to guide and encourage the organization to adopt suitable policies to reduce the gender gap, bringing consequent benefits for staff well-being, as well as positive reputational and ethical impacts.

3 Guiding Principles

DLVSystem s.r.l.’s Gender Equality Policy is based on the following principles:

These principles are inspired and guided by the European Union’s Gender Equality Strategy 2020-2025, whose objectives include:

  • Promoting equality in decision-making processes;
  • Combating stereotypes, gender-based violence, and protecting victims.

4 Management’s Commitment

The Management actively commits to promoting and consolidating an organizational model based on gender equality, equity, and inclusion. Specifically, DLVSystem s.r.l. commits to:

  • Adopting tools and policies to prevent any form of discrimination and protect the dignity of every collaborator, regardless of their role and level of responsibility;
  • Valuing diversity in every corporate process: from human resources recruitment and selection to training access, from defining remuneration policies to performance evaluation and reward system allocation, and from supplier selection to service delivery/product supply;

The complexity of the context in which the organization operates currently makes it difficult to identify and hire specialized professional profiles that meet corporate needs ; nevertheless, DLVSystem s.r.l. will share all phases of the recruitment process with the Gender Equality Steering Committee to close the existing gap between male and female presence wherever possible. Regarding careers and pay equity, the company already starts from a favorable position, guaranteeing equal pay for equal skills and duties. Particular attention is also paid to supporting parenthood and time management: leaves are encouraged and never penalized, and the internal collaborative climate facilitates the balance between the professional sphere and private life. DLVSystem s.r.l. is committed to preventing all forms of harassment, not only through frequent awareness-raising moments but also through periodic informal interviews conducted by the Gender Equality Steering Committee.

La Politica per la Parità di Genere, inserita nel più ampio quadro delle linee programmatiche aziendali, prevede un riesame periodico degli obiettivi, in collaborazione con il Comitato Guida, al fine di verificarne l’efficacia e valutare eventuali aggiornamenti o integrazioni.

7 Dissemination of the Policy

The Gender Equality Policy is shared with all personnel and stakeholders through dedicated training activities and publication on the company website, ensuring its full understanding and application.
